About TED

TED is a nonprofit organization that is devoted to spreading ideas. It began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment, and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. It is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. It is built on the belief in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and, ultimately, the world. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events to help share ideas in communities around the world. TEDx, x = independently organized event in the spirit of ideas worth spreading, is a program of local, self‐organized events that bring people together to share a TED‐like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

About TEDxKids@NMS

TEDxKids event is for children ages twelve through fourteen years from our community have shared their personal journeys, captivating stories, and ideas that inspire an audience of all ages.

Since 2017, TEDxKids@NMS has been an exhilarating TEDxKids event organised annually by Neerja Modi School. It is aimed at igniting thoughts, sparking conversations, and broadening the horizons of not only the youth at NMS or India but the world as a whole. Through the years we have explored the themes of Compassion, Wonder… Spring to ideas,The Future You and Resilience, and we hope to continue inspiring as we invite eloquent voices to speak about TEDxKIDS@NMS is back, igniting imaginations with the theme “possibilities”. Possibilities are more than something that just “might exist”, the simplest definition is the variable x in any equation, substitute your creativity, effort, and ambition in that equation, and the answers you get when it’s solved are limitless. This event isn’t just about theory and algorithms. It’s about real people who’ve explored possibilities, embraced mistakes, and paved the way for themselves.

“Forget the Impossible”, and celebrate the “inevitable possibilities” on the horizon. Life isn’t a test with a single right answer, it’s a journey, and the most valuable lessons come from the detours we take.
